New photos show catastrophic damage to Russian large landing ship Minsk
It seems that the large landing ship "Minsk" of Project 775 has been finally destroyed. At least, such a conclusion can be made if you look at the photos that have appeared.
Here's What We Know
The ship repair plant in Sevastopol was attacked by cruise missiles on the night of 13 September 2023. The already mentioned large landing ship "Minsk" and the submarine "Rostov-on-Don", which is a carrier of cruise missiles "Kalibr", were damaged.
#Ukraine: The Pr. 775 "Minsk" landing ship, which was hit during the attack on the Sevastopol Shipyard, suffered serious damage on the superstructure. The aftermath of a heavy fire is also visible.

Given the ship's age and level of damage - it is likely beyond economic repair. pic.twitter.com/XbTKn7dTqI
We haven't seen any photos of the submarine yet, but images of the ship suggest that it will no longer begin its mission. The photo shows the aftermath of a massive fire. Parts of the ship are lurching in different directions. Given the degree of damage and age, there is hardly any economic sense in repairing the ship.
"Minsk" joined the fleet 23 years ago. It is designed to land sea landing troops, transfer cargoes and troops by sea. Project 775 ships can transport up to 13 medium tanks, up to 20 trucks or up to 13 armoured personnel carriers.
