The second season of Castlevania: Nocturne is already in development
Although the premiere of the first season of Castlevania: Nocturne premiered only on 28 September, it has already become known that a sequel is in development.

Here's What We Know
The news was announced by director Samuel Deats, as well as the official Castlevania Twitter account, which shared a short teaser with the announcement. The video, according to Deats, contains "actual footage, mock-ups, and animations" that are already being prepared for the second season.
The new season will tell the origin story of Richter Belmont and is set during the French Revolution and features vampires in the lead roles. The showrunner is Kevin Kolde, and the series is created and written by Clive Bradley. The series is being produced at Powerhouse Animation Studios in Austin, Texas.
