Esse Proxy is out - cyberpunk action in the spirit of Hotline Miami

There aren't many games that are similar in gameplay to Hotline Miami. One of them is the fresh twin-stick shooter Esse Proxy from the studio FromSouthGames.

The action unfolds in a gloomy cyberpunk dystopia. It is not clear what the story is about:

“You are a soul burdened by a corpse that does not wish to be just an illusion. Let me introduce myself, I'm a real mess. And I'm here if you keep looking."

You will play as different characters connected to each other by a chain of past and future events. Each of them has unique abilities and strengths and weaknesses. 

According to the developers, Esse Proxy is a difficult game, so you need to think carefully about your actions. In addition, attentiveness will not be superfluous when searching for secrets.

There are currently only 31 reviews published on Steam, but 96% of them are positive. The audience liked the dynamic gameplay and dense atmosphere, but the picture is spoiled by technical performance and short duration.

Esse Proxy is currently only available on Steam - the Epic Games Store will be released later.
