Relaunch didn't work: new Saints Row gets the lowest ratings in franchise history

The first reviews about the crime action Saints Row appeared on the aggregators.

Reviewers were not very happy with the re-launch of the famous series, as evidenced by the low scores. So, at the time of writing this news on Metacritic, PC-version of the project studio Volition estimated at 69 points, and the console version has received ratings even lower. Also the situation on OpenCritic.

The main drawback of the Saints Row reboot, as experts say, was its secondary character and lack of fresh ideas. They also noted boring open world, uninteresting storyline and worn-out mechanics.

The game, which was supposed to update the franchise, almost in everything repeats the previous parts, since the release of which a long time has passed.

Among the positives we should mention a fun cooperative mode and a good customization.

Tomorrow, August 23, we will see the Saints Row reboot. The game is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
