In November 2022, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and PlayStation 5 topped sales in the U.S. video game market

Portal Games Industry has published statistics on sales of U.S. video game market in November.
Here's What We Know
- $6.3 billion was spent by U.S. gamers on games, consoles and hardware, up 3% from the same period in 2021;
- $4.7 billion (-5%) was spent on games, $1.3 billion (+35%) on hardware, and $289 million (+10%) on accessories;
- PlayStation 5 was the best-selling console in November in the U.S., surpassing even Nintendo Switch in terms of profits;
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was the top-selling game in November, ahead of 2022 hits such as God of War: Ragnarok, Pokemon Scarlet/Violet and Elden Ring.
