Not a repeat, but a reference: Ubisoft has unveiled new Assassin's Creed Mirage art, identical to a shot from the first part of the franchise

On the occasion of the end of the year 2022, Ubisoft published a new artwork of the next Assassin's Creed game with the subtitle Mirage.

Conceptually it almost repeats the famous Assassin's Creed trailer, where Altair is attacking the crusader and is about to kill him with hidden blade.

The new artwork shows Basim in exactly the same move, but instead of the crusader, he's an Arab warrior.

This is not a coincidence, but a deliberate move by the developers in order to pay tribute to "the game where it all began.

When We Can Expect It

An Assassin's Creed Mirage release date has not yet been officially announced, but a reputable insider reported that the game will not be released until August 2023. But recently on the Romanian website there was another date: March 9, 2023.
