Hackers hacked into Riot Games' servers and stole the source code of League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics. Developers refuse to pay ransom
Riot Games reported that in the second half of January, its servers were subjected to a massive hacker attack.

According to the company, the personal data of users and employees remained untouched, the attackers got their hands on the source code of the super-popular games League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics, as well as the outdated anti-chit.
Today Riot Games received a letter from the hackers demanding ransom and publicly stated that they refused to pay the criminals.
Instead, the American company will conduct a thorough investigation and try to minimize the damage caused by the hackers.
As promised, we wanted to update you on the status of last week's cyber attack. Over the weekend, our analysis confirmed source code for League, TFT, and a legacy anticheat platform were exfiltrated by the attackers.
