Electronic Arts announces closure of mobile versions of Apex Legends and Battlefield
Publisher Electronic Arts has decided to drop further support for two mobile games.

Respawn Entertainment has warned that players will not receive a refund on in-game purchases.

In addition to the mobile version of Apex Legends, Electronic Arts will drop development of Battlefield Mobile, which was scheduled for release in 2023. The company has decided to "change the current direction of the series to best execute its vision and meet player expectations".
