Ubisoft CEO: "If E3 takes place, we will attend
While gaming giants Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo have refused to take part in E3 2023, due to take place from June 13-16 in Los Angeles, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has revealed that his company will be showcasing its new products at the event.
Here's What We Know
Speaking to investors yesterday, the French publisher's CEO said: "If E3 goes ahead, Ubisoft will be there. Such wording raises doubts: will the show take place? In the gaming community, there is a growing perception that E3 is outdated and that it is easier and more efficient for companies to hold their own shows which also attract more viewers than E3 has in recent years.
Yves Guillemot assured that Ubisoft has something to show and confirmed that the company has several big-budget games scheduled for release in the near future. According to Tom Henderson, Skull & Bones, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Assassin's Creed Mirage will be released in fiscal year 2023. The recently announced racing game The Crew Motorfest may also be on that list.
