Bloggers show gameplay of the new online shooter THE FINALS and reveal the game's main features

The beta testing of the new online shooter THE FINALS from Embark Studios starts today.

A number of bloggers have released videos in which they shared their impressions of the game.

Here's What We Know

Judging by the published materials, THE FINALS will really appeal to the fans of competitive shooters.

To briefly describe the project, it features:

• fast and dynamic gameplay;
• high destructibility of buildings. Players will be able to smash doors, walls and buildings to the ground - in this respect the game is similar to Battlefield, and perhaps superior to the famous shooter;
• lots of cosmetic items;
• four teams of three in each match. In the main mode of THE FINALS, the players' main goal will be to capture the vault of money;
• Three classes of characters are available to gamers, sorted by their build, which is linked to their characteristics. For example, a fast character is not the most survivable, but a slow character will withstand many more hits;
• players have a variety of weapons and auxiliaries available to them;
• the maps have interactive objects that can be used to achieve victory, for example, to go up in a lift or to demolish a building with a construction crane;
• each map features several options for weather conditions and time of day.

THE FINALS' closed beta test will continue until March 21 on PC. You should submit an application to take part in it on the shooter's Steam page.

When We Can Expect It

THE FINALS release date has not yet been announced. The shooter will be free to play and will be released on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
