Vice City, but not GTA: what famous rapper 50 Cent is working on

Last week, rapper Curtis Jackson - aka 50 Cent - intrigued fans of the famous GTA game series.

On his Instagram, the performer posted an image with Vice City written on it. Of course, the public began to speculate, what does 50 Cent do.

Truth was not so reassuring for the fans of Grand Theft Auto: rapper is not working on the new part of the game and is not writing the soundtrack.

As Deadline has learned , 50 Cent is producing a crime series called Vice City, but it has nothing to do with GTA.

Anyway, they are not connected directly, but according to the series description, some plot elements remind the cult Rockstar Games game. The story tells about a group of ex-military men, who, after a forced retirement, are sent to Miami, where they get involved in criminal affairs.

The series is being created for streaming service Paramount+, and release dates are still unknown.

The series will be directed by Chad Stahelski, one of the creators of the popular John Wick action series.
