Tom Henderson: Sony is working on PS5 Pro. Improved console could hit the market as early as the end of 2024

Insider sources of Tom Henderson have revealed that Sony is working on a more powerful version of the PlayStation 5 console.

The device, called PS5 Pro, is expected to go on sale as early as the end of 2024.

It is not yet known what the technical advantage of the new version of the PlayStation 5 is, but it is likely that gamers will expect improved ray tracing.

Henderson separately stressed that the PS5 Pro is not the removable drive model that has long been rumoured.

Tom Henderson suggests that Microsoft is also working on an intermediate generation console, which he jokingly called "Xbox Series XXX".
