Nothing has changed: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 developer denies Russians' information that the game's development has stopped

We wrote that the Russian community has published 16 GB of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 materials. It leaked the world map, artwork, game plot, a lot of working materials, and other information that should not have fallen into the hands of attackers. After that, Russian "insiders" began to say that development had stopped amid these events, and the game was only 20-25% complete and looked like an alpha version. However, who could doubt it - it turned out to be a lie.

Here's What We Know

GSC Game World community manager McCulkin denied all rumours surrounding S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and assured that the game's development continues.

Please do not believe the rumours. Development is still ongoing - nothing has changed

Therefore, all gamers can do now is support GSC Game World and pre-order S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl on Steam.

When We Can Expect It

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is scheduled for release in 2023 on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The game will be immediately available in the Xbox Game Pass library.
