Diablo III is a thing of the past: Blizzard ends content support for the popular game

Content support for Diablo III is coming to an end.

Here's What We Know

Between May and July 2023, the popular action-RPG Diablo III will kick off season 29 with the latest content updates.

Beginning with season 30, Blizzard will stop actively developing the game and will only rotate quests, rewards, and options that have appeared in previous seasons over the course of nine years.

Blizzard attributes its decision to the need to divert staff resources to developing and continuing to support Diablo IV.

Diablo IV is scheduled for release on June 6, 2023 on Xbox Series, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
