A little girl in a creepy mental asylum - a free demo version of the prologue to the horror game Alone in the Dark has been released

The Alone in the Dark Spotlight broadcast today where the developers shared important details about the new horror game.

Here's What We Know

Immediately after the show, publisher THQ Nordic and studio Pieces Interactive released a free demo of the game, which is also its prologue.

The protagonist of the prequel will be a girl named Grace Saunders.

Here's what the demo's description says:

One of the patients at Derceto Psychiatric Hospital, Jeremy Hartwood, has started acting strangely. He asks the girl Grace for a favour: deliver a letter to his niece, Emily Hartwood. She seems to be the only one who can make sense of Jeremy's otherworldly visions.

Grace agrees to help and embarks on a short but nightmarish journey through the corridors of the asylum, which have become home to an entity that has risen from the dark swamps of Louisiana...

The prologue is available on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.

Alone in the Dark 2 will be released on October 25, 2023.
