Anderson v Monster Saga: first gameplay trailer for Alan Wake II

One of the highlights of Summer Game Fest was the premiere of the first gameplay trailer for Alan Wake II. The game was personally presented by creative director and screenwriter Sam Lake.

Here's What We Know

In the new psychological horror game from Remedy Entertainment studio the gameplay has not undergone any fundamental changes compared to the 2010 game.

Players need to dodge the attacks of the few enemies in a timely manner, burning the darkness out of them with a torch and other light sources, after which they become vulnerable.

In the footage shown, FBI agent Saga Anderson checks out an abandoned convenience store, where he encounters a possessed killer.

When We Can Expect It

Alan Wake II will be released on October 17, 2023 on PC (Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
