At Summer Game Fest, Square Enix has unveiled the debut trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the second installment of the remake of the famous 1997 game.

Here's What We Know

The trailer shows that Midgar has undergone a major destruction after the events of the previous game, but the heroes do not linger there and go in search of the powerful Sephiroth, who was reported missing after the Final Fantasy VII Remake ending.

Overall, the gameplay hasn't changed much, so only improved graphics can be noted at this point.

When We Can Expect It

The trailer revealed the approximate release date of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth - early 2024.

The game will only be available on PlayStation 5. The physical edition will be sold on two discs.
