Starbreeze studio to port new crime shooter to Unreal Engine 5 after Payday 3 release

The long-awaited crime shooter Payday 3 is being developed on the Unreal Engine 4. However, during the development of the game the fifth, and much better, version of this technology has been released.

Here's What We Know

The developers from Starbreeze studio realise, that modern engine would make their game more attractive and technologically advanced, and announced that after the Payday 3's release, the game's designers will start working on the Unreal Engine 5 port. This was revealed from the FAQ section on the official Payday 3 website.

When We Can Expect It

Payday 3 will be released on September 21 on PC, Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.
