Blizzard veteran Scott Mercer leaves the company after 26 years working on StarCraft, World of Warcraft, Warcraft III and Overwatch
Another famous developer has decided to end his career at Blizzard.

After 26 years of collaboration, Scott Mercer has announced his departure from the famous studio. He was one of the main developers of StarCraft, World of Warcraft, Warcraft III and Overwatch.
Mercer thanked his colleagues for their many years of service and wished them luck in their future projects. It is not yet known whether the game designer with such a vast experience plans to continue working in the industry, but at this stage his main goal is to improve his own health.
I've retired after 26 years as a game designer at Blizzard. Had a great run working on so many cool games with so many great people over that time.
