A small update to Cyberpunk 2077 on GOG will make it easier for custom modification makers
CD Projekt RED continues to improve Cyberpunk 2077 and has once again released a small update.
Here's What We Know
This time, the Polish company has improved the version of Cyberpunk 2077, available on the GOG service.
The patch doesn't change anything except the Cyberpunk 2077 exe file.
The developers have made it the same as the Steam and Epic Games Store in order to improve the experience and simplify the creation of custom modifications, as well as unify them for all PC services.
Most likely, all of the recent patches are in preparation for the game's biggest add-on, Phantom Liberty, which will be released on September 26.
We've just released a small update for #Cyberpunk2077 on @GOGcom. It is a modding-oriented update that changes the .exe file version to match the one on Steam and Epic Games Store - making it easier to create mods compatible with the game on all PC storefronts.
