Path of Exile 2 creators shared important details about the game's development and unveiled new gameplay clips
During the ExileCon 2023 event, developers from Grinding Gear Games studio shared new details and video footage of the anticipated action-RPG Path of Exile 2.
Here's What We Know
Game designers presented another gameplay trailer of Path of Exile 2, which showed several new Ascendancy class, which will be 36 in the game.
The trailer informs that the game will feature 100 bosses and the same number of locations, 600 types of monsters, 1500 passive skills, 240 active skills, 700 types of equipment, co-operative mode for six players and much more.
At the show, the developers revealed two more pieces of news:
1. The game will definitely not be released in 2023.
2. Grinding Gear Games studio decided to abandon the original concept and now Path of Exile 2 is being created as a completely standalone game.
The new action-RPG and the previous instalment will share only cosmetic items and geocaches, all other content will be released separately and will not be linked.
Path of Exile 2 game director Jonathan Rogers presented a detailed 30-minute video, which demonstrates all the main elements of the game.
Closed beta testing is scheduled for June 2024.
