French experts from DxOMark tested the flagship smartphone Google Pixel 7 Pro.
Here's What We Know
Google's new product was able to do what a number of top models from other manufacturers failed to do, and become the best camera phone according to DxOMark. The Pixel 7 Pro scored 147 points and became the leader of the top ranking. Although Honor Magic 4 Ultra has an identical result.
DxOMark rated photo capture at 148 points and video recording at 143 points. The smartphone camera features accurate color reproduction when shooting in different conditions, has fast autofocus and provides a high level of detail. The disadvantages include the appearance of noise during filming when there is a lack of light.
Google Pixel 7 Pro passed two more tests. In the test of the front camera smartphone scored 142 points and took third place along with Huawei Mate 40 Pro. Above there are only Huawei P50 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro with 144 and 145 points respectively.
The quality of the display was rated at 146 points. With such a result, the novelty of Google has settled between the two Apple flagships - iPhone 14 Pro Max (149 points) and iPhone 13 Pro Max (145 points).
Note that the Pixel 7 Pro was able to beat its predecessor. The Pixel 6 Pro's main camera scored 134 points, as did the vivo X70 Pro+. It wasn't even enough to make it into the top 10. In the front-facing camera test, the smartphone got 138 points and ranked sixth. The 2021 flagship's screen, on the other hand, earned only 130 points - that's 18th place along with the Honor Magic 4 Pro.
