Honor X8a - Helio G88, 90Hz LCD display and 100MP camera for £220
Honor has quietly unveiled a new mid-range smartphone. The model is called Honor X8a.
Here's What We Know
Technically, the novelty is a standard member of its price segment, but it stands out with a 100 MP main camera. The resolution of the ultra-wide-angle module is 5 MP, the macro is 2 MP and the front-facing 16 MP.
The Honor X8a is powered by the Helio G88 chip without 5G support. Buyers can choose between versions with 6/8GB of RAM. The storage capacity is 128GB regardless of the modification.
The smartphone is equipped with a Full HD+ IPS LCD display. The panel has a diagonal of 6.7" and supports a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The novelty also has a 4,500mAh battery with 22.5W charging, NFC and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Honor X8a is already available for pre-order in the UK. The smartphone is priced from £220. It will go on sale on February 15 with Magic UI 6.1 firmware on Android 12 in three colour variants: Cyan Lake, Titanium Silver, Midnight Black. For pre-orders, the company is giving away an Honor Band 6 sports bracelet.
