The film "Saw X" is so realistic that neighbours called the police because of screams they heard while an editor was working on the design of one of the scenes

A funny misunderstanding happened during the production of the popular psychological thriller "Saw X". It's likely that the film's editor Steve Forn will now be working with headphones on after police arrived at his North Hollywood office due to disturbing noises that really spooked the neighbours.

Here's What We Know

In an interview with NME, the film's director Kevin Greutert revealed that police showed up at their editor Steve Fearn's office while he was working on the film because neighbours reported frantic screaming coming from his office.

At the time, Forn was just finishing up the sound design for a particularly creepy scene that shows an "eye trap" that a character must escape from to avoid losing his sight. Logically, it's a very loud scene.

"There was a knock at the door. We have the doorbell [camera] video of the police walking up, [Forn answering the door] and the police saying, 'The neighbors [have been] calling and saying someone's being tortured to death in here,'" - Greutert. "And he was like, 'Actually, I'm just working on a movie. You can come in and see it if you want?' The cops started laughing! They said, 'We want to but, you know, you're all right'". - he continued. "It must have been a pretty realistic performance! It's a pretty funny story. Plus, Steve is such a mild-mannered guy. I can only imagine the look on his face when he realized what was happening!"

Here's What The Movie Is About

The tenth instalment of the "Saw" franchise, now on big screens, takes place between "Saw" and its sequel, "Saw II", and tells the story of John Kramer's painful condition. When he goes to Mexico for an experimental cancer treatment, John discovers that he has been duped, and the whole programme is nothing more than an attempt by doctors and their accomplices to profit by taking advantage of people's desperation. Of course, Jigsaw can't stand by and sets about preparing his own elaborate torture to punish the crooks.
