Adaptation of the cult franchise: the first shots and details of the series from Amazon on the Fallout universe are presented

Vanity Fair has published several shots of the TV series based on the universe of the cult game franchise Fallout, which is being handled by Amazon's film division.
Here's What We Know
Vanity Fair journalist talked to the executive producer of the series Jonathan Nolan and the head of Bethesda Game Studios Todd Howard.
They shared the following interesting details:
- the events of the series are not based on any of the games in the series and will unfold 219 years after the Great War;
- the series will reveal the story of the appearance of Vault Boy, who became a symbol of the Fallout franchise;
- the main characters of the series will be a girl Lucy, her role will be played by Ella Purnell, and a member of the Brotherhood of Steel Maximus, played by Aaron Moten. The third central character will be a ghoul who has lived on the surface for at least a hundred years and whose name is Ghoul, played by Walton Goggins;
- the characters' story begins in different places, but at some point their paths will cross;
- the series has both serious themes and Fallout's trademark humour:
- Gul's appearance in the series differs from the game, as it would be difficult to show his facial expressions through a huge layer of plastic make-up.
When We Can Expect It
The Fallout series will be released on 12 April 2024 on streaming service Prime Video.
