"The Boys" will get another spin-off and this time, the action will take place in Mexico
It looks like The Boys universe continues to expand, this time into Latin America.
Here's What We Know
According to Variety, Prime Video has another "The Boys" spin-off in development, set in the wild and bloody world of superheroes in Mexico City.
The script is being written by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer, who worked on "Blue Beetle," with "The Boys" creator Erik Kripke taking on the role of executive producer.
It's also being reported that Cassian Andor, Diego Luna, and Werewolf By Night's Gael Garcia Bernal are currently in discussions to join the production under the auspices of their film company La Corriente del Golfo.
In fact, not much is known about the future spin-off at this point. If it goes ahead, the project would be the third offshoot from the original show. The first was the animated series "Diabolical" and the second was "Gen V," which received rave reviews on the Prime Video platform and interacted with the main series in interesting ways. The finale of "Gen V" concluded in such a way that its events flow directly into the fourth season of "The Boys".
As for the original show, the next phase in "The Boys" universe will be the fourth season, which has not yet been given an exact release date.
