Ukraine receives a licence to manufacture Czech assault rifles
Ukroboronprom signed an agreement with Czech company Česká zbrojovka a.s. on licensed production of small arms in Ukraine.
Here's What We Know
First of all, Ukraine will start producing assault rifles of NATO calibre CZ BREN. They are currently in service with the Czech army and are also supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Negotiations began in 2023. At that time, it was not only about CZ BREN 2, which was locally known as Sich, but also about the creation of a full-fledged Sellier & Bellot ammunition production line.
