NBA 2K24 took first place in the Hall of Shame within 10 days of its release and received only 9% of positive reviews

We wrote that the basketball simulator NBA 2K24, 4 days after its release on 8 September, was included in the Hall of Shame list and took the 2nd place, but now the situation has changed somewhat.

Here's What We Know

The first place in the Hall of Shame was held by Overwatch 2, but now NBA 2K24 has managed to "surpass" Blizzard's free-to-play online shooter and is already in the 1st place. Only 9% of all reviews on Steam are positive. We would like to remind you that players complain about the lack of plot, a huge number of cheaters, and a lot of donations, but most of all, they complain that 2K24 on PC is a past-gen version, not a next-gen one. That is, the game looks better on PS5 and Xbox Series than on PC. That's why the PC version has worse animations, poorer overall picture quality, some features are simply not available, and there is no cross-platform support.

Some gamers on Steam ask developers to just make a game that people can enjoy, because everyone will benefit from it. Also, some continue to believe that the publisher will listen to the community and will be able to rehabilitate itself in the next instalment, but for now, it is better not to buy NBA 2K24.
