Yesterday - 10 December - was the 30th anniversary of the cult shooter Doom.
Many developers published congratulations to the famous game and its developers.
Creators of Doom, as well as Wolfenstein and Quake, John Romero and John Carmack held a special stream.

The iconic developers put aside their differences and met virtually to share their memories of creating one of the industry's greatest and most influential games.
They answered all the questions, talked about the development of the revolutionary id Tech 1 engine that not only created Doom, but also helped thousands of developers release their projects.
Carmack and Romero honestly admitted that they are proud of their work, but noted that they could have made the shooter even better if not for certain circumstances.
Game designers also mentioned Doom's brilliant advertising campaign, which was one of the first when the buyer of the game received souvenir items as a gift. In addition, everyone could get a free demo version of the shooter, thanks to which the popularity of DOOM reached an incredible level.
John Carmack and John Romero thanked all gamers for their love for DOOM.
