Epic Games has found no confirmation of the theft of important information by the hacker group Mogilevich

We have already reported that the hacker group Mogilevich claimed to have successfully hacked Epic Games servers and stolen about 200 GB of confidential information of the company.

Here's What We Know

Cybercriminals have given a deadline of 4 March to ransom the data, after which they threaten to leak it into free access.

However, Epic Games representatives released a statement saying that the company has no evidence yet that the hackers have actually stolen the sensitive information. They have tried to contact members of the Mogilevich group to get confirmation of their words, but there has been no response yet.

Epic Games said that as soon as the media published information about the hack, they started an internal review and will keep the public informed.
