The developers of Rise of the Ronin talked about the importance of choices in the game and their impact on the course of the story
Sony and Team Ninja presented another video about the nuances of the action game Rise of the Ronin.
The previous materials were devoted to historical accuracy, open world, story, weapons and combat system of the game, and this time the developers told about the influence of the choices the player makes during the passage.
Here's What We Know
The protagonist of Rise of the Ronin will be a nameless ronin - a samurai without a lord, who initially does not belong to either side of the conflict.
At the beginning of the game, the hero has no clear principles and does not choose a side - the player will do it for him.
Each episode, in which the gamer is allowed to influence the course of events, has a great impact on the entire plot of Rise of the Ronin. The developers have put a lot of effort into making it fun for players to replay the action, making different decisions to see what outcomes they can lead to.
Team Ninja staff reported that the main character will have a twin, but it won't be a stereotypical fight between good and evil - the developers have prepared something much more interesting.
By the way, the ambiguity and uncertainty of the protagonist, greatly complicated the work of the composer in writing the musical theme of Ronin.
When We Can Expect It
Rise of the Ronin will be released on the 22nd of March. The game will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive, with no mention of a PC release yet.
