UK to transfer FV107 Scimitar armoured reconnaissance vehicles to the AFU
The UK is going to send a new batch of weapons to Ukraine.
Here's What We Know
We are talking about 23 armoured reconnaissance vehicles FV107 Scimitar in modification Mk.2. According to RBSL company, the vehicles have now been sent to Germany for repair. It is planned to be completed within 32 days. The FV107 Scimitar Mk.2 will then be sent to Ukraine.
The FSR's were able to support by diagnosing the faults, providing technical advice and guidance on the repairs, providing vehicle safety advice, performing road testing and getting stuck into the repairs. This effort provided 23 vehicles for #Ukraine in the space of 32 days.

The FV107 Scimitar is an armoured tracked combat reconnaissance vehicle. It is used by the British Army. Производством машины занималась компания Alvis. Externally, the FV107 Scimitar is very similar to the FV101 Scorpion. The main difference is the presence of high-velocity 30-mm gun L21 RARDEN.
As for the Mk.2 modification, it was created based on the experience of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. The vehicle was modernised for urban reconnaissance. FV107 Scimitar Mk.2 has new seats, upgraded communication system, air conditioning, larger fuel tank, and new DST 414 Cook Defence Systems tracks with improved range and smoothness.
