The AWHero has a maximum take-off weight of 200kg. The unmanned aerial vehicle can carry a payload of 20-40 kg. The helicopter can transmit data to a distance of up to 100 km and has a flight time of up to 6 hours.
The payload is not limited to the Gabbiano TS Ultralight. In addition to the new Maritime Radar, the AWHero can be equipped with Electro-Optical/Infra-red sensors, Electronic Support Tools and LiDAR.
