Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that during a meeting with Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak. According to him, the U.S. is satisfied with the accuracy of HIMARS on Russian ammunition depots and command posts.
The Defense Chief noted that U.S. multiple rocket launchers together with 155mm artillery systems (including the Polish AHS Krab) are significantly changing the picture of combat on Ukrainian territory. The minister believes this will continue to be the case.
Reznikov said that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have adopted the approach of NATO countries. To be more precise, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are carrying out spot strikes on the positions of the Russian army, i.e. they are working like a surgeon with a scalpel.
The Minister of Defense noted that one cannot buy HIMARS, AHS Krab or Panzerhaubitze 2000 in a regular supermarket. Every country that transfers arms to Ukraine simultaneously weakens its own defense capabilities. This is one of the reasons for the slow supply of foreign weapons. At the same time, Ukrainian artillerymen now undergo a training course to work with foreign weapons in two weeks, whereas under normal conditions it takes 2-3 months.
