Greece received the Lynx KF41, the most advanced BMP of the German company Rheinmetall
The German company Rheinmetall has handed over the Lynx KF41 BMPs to the Greek Armed Forces.
What we know
Greece plans to test them and if the BMPs are approved, the Greek government will sign a contract for deliveries in the near future. Rheinmetall has offered to localize the vehicles to Greece, as well as to set up production at local facilities.

The Lynx KF41 is an advanced infantry fighting vehicle. Rheinmetall revealed it in 2018. The BMP weighs 44 tons. The KF41 can carry a crew of three and carry up to eight passengers. The BMP is equipped with an 850 kW engine and reaches a maximum speed of 70 km/h. The main weapon of the KF41 Lynx is the LANCE turret, equipped with a cannon and launcher for 30 mm or 35 mm anti-tank missiles.
