Sweden announces new $100,000,000 military aid package for Ukraine
Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson said that the Swedish government is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine.
Here's What We Know
The cost of the new package is 1,000,000,000 Swedish krona (or $100,000,000). Andersson did not say what kind of armament it was referring to, but previously Ukraine had asked Sweden for ammunition, self-propelled Archer artillery units based on Volvo A30D 6×6 chassis, as well as RBS 70 surface-to-air missile systems.
Recall that in July Sweden announced that it would send Ukraine Anti-tank weapons, rifles and anti-ship missiles: Sweden will give Ukraine a new military aid package. They are the modification of the American AGM-114 Hellfire. These missiles can be launched from ship or ground fire points.
