On September 6, the first information about the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counterattack in the Kharkiv area appeared. In about a week, the Defense Forces were able to liberate almost the entire region from the Russian invaders. They were assisted in this by Western equipment. What kind of weapons were used, we will tell you below.
M142 HIMARS and M270 MLRS
Of course, they could not do without the American multiple launch rocket systems M270 MLRS and HIMARS, which with high-precision missiles GMLRS can hit targets at a range of 84 km. By the way, along with the M270 in the Kharkіv region there was spotted a Turkish armored car Kirpi.
AHS Krab
Without howitzers it was also difficult to imagine an effective counteroffensive. One of them is the Polish AHS Krab self-propelled artillery unit of 155 mm caliber.
PzH 2000
The German Panzerhaubitze 2000 also provided support. It is considered one of the best self-propelled artillery units in the world.
M109

But the Armed Forces of Ukraine used not only self-propelled artillery units. Towed howitzers also contributed to their success. In particular, the L119 of 105 mm caliber.
T-72M1
And where to go without tanks. T-72M1 armored vehicles (export version T-72A) helped to liberate Kharkiv region. The tanks came to Ukraine from Northern Macedonia, Poland, and the Czech Republic. In particular, Poland sent almost two hundred tanks to Ukraine.
FV103 Spartan
The counterattack involved the capabilities of British F103 Spartan armored personnel carriers. The first APCs arrived in Ukraine in mid-summer.

HMMWV armored vehicles also helped to liberate the Kharkiv region from the Russian occupiers. Such vehicles arrive in Ukraine from the United States by the hundreds.

There was also the American MaxxPro armored vehicles. They were first seen in Ukraine relatively recently and have arrived from the United States.
Bushmaster
To conclude, the Ukrainian Armed Forces used Australian-made Bushmaster armored vehicles. One of the vehicles was equipped with an Mk3 19 Mod 3 automatic grenade launcher with a maximum rate of fire of 390 rounds per minute.
