Ukrainians raised $2.71 million in 9 hours to buy British Spartan armored vehicles

In 9 hours the citizens of Ukraine transferred half of the amount needed to buy Spartan armored vehicles.

Here's What We Know

Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation on November 2 at 10:00 a.m. (EET) opened fundraising for the purchase of 50 British-made Spartan armored vehicles. ₴200 million ($5.42) is needed to purchase the armored vehicles.

Half of the amount has already been raised. It took Ukrainians only 9 hours to transfer ₴100 million ($2.71) to the fund's accounts. Spartan plans to raise funds until November 8, but there is a strong feeling that the collection will end much sooner.
