The Armed Forces of Ukraine showed how a Gepard anti-aircraft tank destroyed a Russian cruise missile (video)

The Ukrainian military demonstrated the Gepard self-propelled air defense system in action, which worked on the target during a massive missile strike.

On December 5, Russia, with the help of Black Sea Fleet ships, fighter jets and strategic aviation aircraft, fired 70 missiles at Ukraine. The Air Force was able to shoot down more than 85 percent of them. At least one missile was destroyed by a German Gepard anti-aircraft tank.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces received 30 Gepard anti-aircraft units from Germany. The last batch was delivered in September. However, Germany will provide seven more Gepard units to Ukraine. They will be part of one of the future military aid packages. This is indicated on the website of the German government. According to Spiegel, the new batch of Gepard will arrive in Ukraine in the spring.
