Here's What We Know
The goal of the crowdfunding campaign is to raise $2.25 million (CZK 50 million). In the first four hours users have donated approximately $90,000 (CZK 2 million). Together with the multiple rocket launcher system, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive an ammunition kit of 365 rockets.
The STV Group company has already started upgrading and re-equipping the launcher to meet the needs of the Ukrainian army. The work is expected to be completed by the end of April this year.
The RM-70 Vampire is a Czech system developed in the 1970s. It is an analogue of the Soviet BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher system. The Vampire has 40 guideways and can hit targets at a distance of over 20 km.
