Ukrainian Air Force does not confirm deployment of SAMP/T system to intercept ballistic missiles

French President Emmanuel Macron recently stated that the SAMP/T system is already operational in Ukraine. The Air Force has not confirmed this information.

Here's What We Know

The French president said at the Paris Air Show that the Franco-Italian air defence system was already deployed in Ukraine and was protecting key facilities and the lives of Ukrainian citizens. Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said he knew "nothing about it".

The Air Force spokesman could not confirm the deployment of the SAMP/T surface-to-air missile system. We wait to see how Macron's words will be commented by the Ukrainian President, the Defence Minister and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
