Great Britain and France conducted joint exercises Griffin Dawn with F-35 Lightning II, Rafale, Eurofighter Typhoon and Aibus A330 MRTT aircraft
Griffin Dawn exercises took place over the North Sea, with the participation of aircraft of the British and French armed forces.
Here's What We Know
The purpose of the joint exercise was to evaluate the effectiveness of the United Expeditionary Force of the United Kingdom and France working together. In addition to the fourth and fifth generation fighters, Airbus A330 MRTT tankers took to the skies to provide aerial refueling. The military said the exercise was a success.
We're (mostly) rooting for @England tonight, but no matter the result, the UK & France stand strong together.
