The US B-1B Lancer strategic bomber flies over Bosnia and Herzegovina
Four US Air Force B-1B Lancer supersonic bombers have been in Europe since last week. They arrived at the UK Royal Air Force base and along the way took part in a small exercise in Latvia. The aircraft recently flew over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Here's What We Know
The strategic bomber has been spotted over Sarajevo and other cities in the country. The US embassy said the supersonic flight was a demonstration of the strong partnership between the US and the European country's armed forces.
We mean it when we say that the United States is Bosnia and Herzegovina's true friend and partner, and that we are here to stay.

The Serbian authorities did not like the visit of the strategic bomber to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The country's air force responded to the arrival of the B-1B Lancer by flying a MiG-29 fighter into the sky.
