Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4: tablet with Snapdragon 870 chip and 10000 mAh battery for $415
At the presentation on August 11 in China Xiaomi showed not only foldable smartphone Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, smartwatch Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro, TWS earphones Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro and inexpensive flagship Redmi K50 Ultra, but also a new tablet.
What we know
New product is called Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4. The tablet will get a large 12.4-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2.5K. The screen supports 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10 and Dolby Vision. The device also boasts a good Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. It is paired with either 6 or 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The gadget is powered by a 10,000mAh battery. It supports fast charging at 67W. With it, the tablet charges to 100% in 68 minutes.
The novelty has four speakers and a main camera with sensors for 50 MP + 2 MP. By the way, the design of the camera of Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 resembles that in the flagships Xiaomi 12. The device comes with the operating system Android 12 and the proprietary shell MIUI 13. The tablet can be connected to the monitor through the USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 1).
Price and when to expect
Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 has already started selling in China. Depending on the modification, the novelty costs from $415 to $590.
