Dimensity 8000 outperforms Snapdragon 870 in AnTuTu

MediaTek has not yet announced the Dimensity 8000 mobile processor, but the single-chip system has already been tested in AnTuTu.

What is known

The mobile platform will be made according to the standards of 5nm technology and will receive two clusters of cores (four each). Productive solutions - Cortex-A78, and energy efficient - Cortex-A55. The peak frequency of the "large" cores will be 2.75 GHz. The graphics subsystem will be represented by the Mali-G510 MC6 accelerator.

MediaTek Dimensity 8000 in the AnTuTu software was able to score approximately 750,000 “parrots”. For comparison, smartphones with a 7-nanometer single-chip Snapdragon 870 system on board the benchmark awards an average of about 700,000 points, i.e. the performance difference is less than 10%.

The first solution based on the Dimensity 8000 chipset should be Realme GT Neo 3. Information about this appeared at the end of last year.
