The Cuphead series will hit Netflix on February 18th. New trailer released

Netflix release date announced Animated series based on the game Cuphead. The premiere is scheduled for February 18. The show will retain the same retro 1930s animation style as the game. 

Netflix Animation is producing a 12-episode series, each episode will be 12 minutes long. The show follows the adventures of two teacup heroes, "the impulsive Cuphead and his obedient brother Mugman." Cuphead creators Chad and Jared Moldenhor of Studio MDHR are executive producers.

Previously, the creators of the animated series said that they want to expand the Cuphead universe. However, the trailer shows quite a few places visited in Cuphead, as well as many of the bosses our heroes face in the game.

In parallel with the announcement was launched thematic site dedicated to the universe where users can perform different tasks.

The adaptation was announced in July 2019 and until recently had no release date.
