The new season in Call of Duty: Warzone has been postponed - the official reason: due to community complaints
The second season of Call of Duty: Warzone was scheduled to begin on February 2, but Activision Blizzard suddenly moved the date. The official version is the problems that the community has encountered in Warzone, Vanguard and Modern Warfare.
Now the second season will begin a few weeks later - on February 14. Additional time will be spent on optimizing, improving the balance of weapons and operatives, increasing stability and fixing bugs. Eventually, Warzone, Vanguard, Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War will be "finished".
According to Activision, now it will report more often on the status of games in the Call of Duty series.
There is an unofficial reason for the transfer. The developers of Raven Software, who are responsible for the development of Warzone, have announced a strike. Activison Blizzard officials reported the start of talks with dissidents, but the workers' alliance said no one from the management had contacted them.
We’ve deployed a number of updates, but more needs to be done. Thank you for being patient while we delay the release of Season Two in #Vanguard and #Warzone to prioritize ongoing work to balance and optimize your current gameplay experience.
