Rumor: OnePlus expands OnePlus 10 lineup and prepares super-flagship OnePlus 10 Ultra
A couple of weeks ago, OnePlus introduced a new flagship One Plus 10 Pro (on the picture). At the same time, whether OnePlus 10 will be released and when the global announcement will take place is still unknown. But rumors about another member of the family appeared on the network.
What to expect?
According to tech journalist, data engineer and insider Yogesh Brar, the company plans to expand the OnePlus 10 family to include another model, the OnePlus 10 Ultra. Moreover, it is expected that it will be a super-flagship aimed at competing with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The device may now be in the EVT (Engineering Validation and Testing) phase. This phase is always followed by DVT (Design Validation and Testing) and PVT (Production Validation and Testing) before the smartphone is officially ready to ship to end users. The many potential issues that a device manufacturer might encounter during all of these steps make it almost impossible to predict when the OnePlus 10 Ultra will see the light of day. Unless, of course, the leak is 100% correct.
Thus, if OnePlus 10 Ultra does come out, its announcement should not be expected before the second half of the year.
