iOS-style widgets may appear in the global version of MIUI 13
On the eve of Xiaomi introduced the global MIUI 13, which has become a stripped-down version of the Chinese firmware. However, one feature that was not announced at the presentation may please users.

We are talking about support for iOS-style widgets, which they began to talk about at the beginning of last summer, when the presentation of MIUI 13 was expected in August. This was reported by the user @kacskrz on Twitter. Later, Xiaomi added a press release on the official website for the new software version, where it also mentioned widgets. True, there is a nuance.
User @kacskrz notes that he found widgets in the Russian (RU) version of MIUI 13, while they are absent in the firmware for the European market (EEA). Xiaomi's press release states that widgets may not be available in all regions. Whether they will appear in the global (MI) version of the shell is still difficult to say.
