Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra on Snapdragon 8 Gen1 and Exynos 2200 compared in Geekbench – the results are almost the same
Samsung does not plan to deviate from the practice of releasing flagship smartphones with different processors depending on the region. This generates controversy about the difference in performance. Judging by the latest tests in Geekbench, in the new generation, the owners of the Snapdragon version will not receive an advantage.
Phone Arena has published the test results of two modifications of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in Geekbench 5 software. Devices with model numbers SM-S908U and SM-S908B are equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 and Exynos 2200 chipsets, respectively.
Note that Geekbench does not test the capabilities of the graphics subsystem, but focuses on CPU performance. In this aspect, there is equality between Qualcomm and Samsung chips. Practically.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra on Snapdragon 8 Gen1 scored 1226 points in Single-Core mode and 3462 points in Multi-Core mode. Modification on the Exynos 2200 chip in the first test gave a more modest result (1168 points), but in the second it took over (3508 points).
